NUEVO COMIENZO is a bilingual church (ministry), located in the city of Greenville, South Carolina, founded by the Apostle Joezel & Prophet Ana Alicea in January 2010, which were called by Jesus Christ to establish the Kingdom of God on earth, to manifest and impart the supernatural power of God.
We are dedicated to bringing the Gospel of the Kingdom of God to the nations, to affirm, equip and send each believer to make disciples. Promote unity in the faith, grounded in love and dedication to the service of our Lord Jesus Christ.
MISSION
New Beginning exists to reach, disciple, and ground people in faith in Jesus Christ,
so that they can fulfill the will of God for their lives.
VALUES
Compassion. We love God with our hearts and we love everything he loves.
Passion. We love God with all our souls and we stand in expectation and wonder.
Curiosity. We love God with our whole mind and we keep discovering who God is.
Generosity. We love God with all our might, and we surrender and deliver all our resources for his glory.
Relationship. We love God above all things, and our neighbor as Jesus loved us.
“He answered, “Love the Lord your God with all your heart and
with all your soul and with all your strength and with all your mind; and,
Love your neighbor as yourself.” - Luke 10:27
“A new command I give you: Love one another. As I have loved you, so you must love one another. 35 By this everyone will know that you are my disciples,
if you love one another.” - John 13:34-35
OUR FAITH
The Bible
We believe that the Bible is the inspired, infallible, and unchanging word of God from Genesis to Revelation. (2 Timothy 3:16)
One God in three persons
We believe in God the Father, God the Son and God the Holy Spirit, and that the three are one. (1 John 5:7)
The deity of Jesus Christ
We believe that Jesus Christ is the Only Begotten Son of God, born of a virgin woman; that he was crucified, died and rose on the third day; ascended to heaven and is now seated at the right hand of God the Father. (Isaiah 7:14, Luke 1:30-35)
The Salvation
We believe that salvation is obtained through repentance and confession of sins; it is given by divine grace (not by works) and is received by faith in Christ Jesus. Well, He is the only mediator between God and men. (Acts 4:12)
The resurrection of the dead and eternal life
We believe in the second coming of Christ for his people, that the dead in Christ will rise first and those who are alive will be caught up by Jesus, and that all will pass through the judgment of God. Those who are registered in the book of life will rise to eternal life and those who are not, to eternal damnation. (1 Thessalonians 4:13-17, Revelation 20:11-15)
sanctification
We believe in sanctification as a work done instantaneously in the spirit, but that it must also be progressively developed in the soul and body of a child of God. (Hebrews 12:14, Romans 6:19-22)
The baptism
We believe in baptism into the Body of Christ, by which a person accepts Jesus, has a new birth and becomes part of the body of Christ and his eternal life.
We believe in water baptism as a symbol of identification with death (to sin) and with the resurrection of Jesus for eternal life. (Romans 6:4)
We believe in the baptism of the Holy Spirit with the evidence of speaking in other tongues, and that, through this baptism, the power to be a witness of Jesus to the whole world is received. (Acts 1:8, Acts 2:4, Mark 16:17)
laying on of hands
We believe that it is one of the ways to transmit God's blessing, healing and power from one human being to another. (Acts 8:15-20, 1 Timothy 4:14, 2 Timothy 1:6)
the five ministries
We believe in the five ministries of Ephesians 4.11, as the gifts given by God to the body of Christ. (Ephesians 4:11)
government ministries
We believe that the apostle and the prophet are governmental ministries that establish the biblical foundation and doctrine of the church. (Ephesians 3:5)
the apostolic government
We believe in establishing the apostolic government in the local church with an apostle as head, a prophet as part of the government, ministers and elders. (Ephesians 4:11, Acts 14:23)
God's kingdom
We believe in the kingdom of God as a government and in the person of Jesus as King, as two absolute and maximum truths. (Acts 8:12)
The healing and liberating power of the Holy Spirit
We believe in the power of the Holy Spirit to heal the sick, cast out demons and perform miracles, wonders, signs and wonders. (Matthew 12:28)
Faith
We believe that without faith it is impossible to live a life pleasing to God and that through it the promises are inherited. (Hebrews 11:6)
Preach the gospel
We believe in spreading the gospel of the Kingdom locally, nationally and globally, by all available means. (Matthew 24:14)
